Egypt Sacred Journey - Fourteen Magic Days

Fourteen Magic Days in Egypt

Dates: October 11-25, 2008

Since ancient times Egypt has expressed an irresistible spiritual magnetism on the hearts and minds of millions of people.

Isn't it your turn to have this experience?

Myths and legends will be explored and, more importantly, experienced! Magnetize yourself with the miraculous power to heal the body, enlighten the mind, increase creativity, develop psychic abilities and awaken the soul to knowing its true purpose in life.

"Dear Maureen, I am still on cloud 9,000,000. I still cannot believe I was able to be a part of what we experienced! As I explain my adventures to some people they do not seem to get the extreme gist of what it was we were offered as a group. I will continually be able to look back and bask in the awe of what I was invited to experience. I thank you!"  Susan, NY

Fourteen Magic Days - A Sacred Journey

Egypt holds magic and mystery - everyone says that. But the biggest reason to go to Egypt has to do with the rapid spiritual transformation that you will experience here. Of course anytime you travel to another culture you will come back richer in spirit. Egypt is special because it is the location of the roots of civilization, and it carries ancient power and energy.

Spirit arranged my first trip to Egypt. I hadn't even planned on going, yet everything fell into place for me to make my site inspection and travel to Egypt with special site inspection pricing prior to my first group arriving. This wasn't the first time I planned to go to Egypt though. A year earlier I had planned to go - but something didn't feel right. So I cancelled four months prior to my scheduled departure. It was a good thing. No one was traveling much at all in October 2001.

I was in New York City - flying home right before 9/11 that year. In 1998 Guidance directed me to start holding workshops in New York City. I am always guided with specific dates for my workshops. In March of 2001, I was told to schedule classes in NYC the weekend of Sept. 8, 2001. I taught two very large classes just a mile from ground zero. Since I have many friends in NYC, I also decided to take a vacation day and visit friends, museums and shop.

However, as I attempted to purchase my airline ticket, I was given a VERY CLEAR MESSAGE to return home immediately after the workshop. Although I did check in with my Guidance when arranging the dates to give the workshop and also reserving the space at the conference center, I did not ask about my vacation day! Yet here I was getting very clear direction - "go straight home." So I did. I was asked by my friends with whom I had plans "Why are you going home on Monday?" I didn't know, perhaps one of my sons would need me or perhaps I would get an important phone call. I would not have been in one of those planes, yet I would have been caught in the fray. I was home Monday night, Sept. 10, 2001.

I believe that these trips are pilgrimages... and NOT just vacations. The work we do is significant and pivotal. You were "called" because of WHO you are - pure in spirit - and only YOU can answer if you should be part of this journey.

Finally, I wish to add that for about five years I was the city-wide head of tourism in two different cities. I bring extensive experience in travel and have partnered with only the best. We are most fortunate to work with the best ground operator in Egypt, whose primary job is to escort experts like John Anthony West and other spiritually based journeys. All our clients are satisfied customers.  Maureen

"I met Maureen in 2001 in Egypt. Having been born in Egypt and lived in that country on-and-off for 30 years, and having written seven books and made dozens of television documentaries on ancient Egypt and its monuments, I think I can say I know ancient Egypt well. Thus I can also say with conviction that in Maureen St. Germain I see an incarnate model of a true priestess of ancient Egypt's great temple tradition. She is smart, witty, deeply perceptive, a beautiful lady inside and out, has a huge open-heart, and most of all she has acquired a vast wisdom of life and human relationships, as well as a great knowledge of sacred geometry, that is very inspirational to all those who have had the good fortune to read her new book 'You Are The Genie In The Bottle'. We can direct our destiny and dreams, and Maureen has understood how to do it."

The group is receiving its specific intention instructions for the day and for the very special meditation inside the Great Pyramid. Later that day, the group held a ceremony and chanted for 2 hours in the King's Chamber.

Schedule of Events: Fourteen Magic Days Itinerary for Egypt 2008

Date Day Activity
Saturday, Oct. 11 Day 1 Depart USA: Depart New York, JFK airport on Egypt Air flight to Cairo, Egypt.
Sunday, Oct. 12 Day 2 Arrive at Cairo International Airport: You'll be met by a Quest Travel representative who will assist you through passports, immigrations and customs. We depart by motor coach to Le Meridian Pyramids hotel.
Monday, Oct. 13 Day 3 Giza, Pyramids, Sphinx: We start our journey in Egypt by visiting the Plateau and paying our respects to the Sphinx at the Valley Temple. Open your heart and listen - Feel the energy of the spirits. We are off to discover some of the most awesome Wonders of the World. The Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. We study them and pay particular attention to the Sphinx. Our Egyptian guide, who is an encyclopedia of Egyptology, will give us detailed explanations of various controversial theories surrounding these amazing structures and guides us in a private visit inside the Great Pyramid and the King's chamber. We later visit the famous Mena Papyrus Gallery Institute, where we will see how hand made copies of old Egyptian art showing the tombs and temples are made. Late lunch will take place at Felfela Restaurant. The rest of the day free for your choice of a desert horseback ride or do some shopping. (B + L)
Tuesday, Oct. 14 Day 4 Sakkara, Egyptian Museum: Today we tour to magnificent Sakkara and King Zoser's Step Pyramid, the earliest of the major pyramids. We will carefully explore important Old Kingdom noble tombs with their vivid symbolic relief and visit other Sakkara sites, where hieroglyphic texts and many of themes of Egyptian sacred science express the creation of the world and the role of humanity within creation. Egypt's incredibly complex mythology and its profusion of mysterious symbols can be seen as an ingenious method of expressing these twin, interlocked themes. At Sakkara we begin to see these themes in action. Lunch on the route back to our hotel at a typical countryside Egyptian restaurant and stop at a carpet factory.

Late afternoon, we depart for the famous Egyptian Museum which houses a collection of relics dating back to 4,000 BC. There we will experience first hand the different periods of ancient Egypt and the individual artistic and architectural styles of each period. The highlight of this museum is the visit to the priceless treasures of Tut-Ankh-Amon. You will hear the incredible story of this child-king from the first curator of this magnificent collection. You will see first hand the intricate workmanship and the tiniest details of the contents of the luggage packed for this King to accompany him to the next world. (B + L)
Wednesday, Oct. 15 Day 5 Aswan, Nile cruise: Morning departure to Cairo Airport for our short flight to Aswan where we will check into our cruise ship, Sonesta Nile. After settling in, our lunch will be served. We then enjoy a felucca ride (a small delightful sailboat - peaceful and serene) before we have a chance to visit the Nubian Market of Aswan, the gateway to Nubia called, "The Pearl of Egypt." With its colorful Nubian bazaar, laid-back atmosphere, the warm and wonderful people and a lovely promenade along the Nile. Aswan is a favorite city in Egypt for many visitors. Dinner. (B, L, D)
Thursday, Oct. 16 Day 6 Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu: In your honor, we have arranged a special privilege to visit the relocated Temple of Philae, privately at sunrise. This is the delicate, elegant, quintessential, feminnie Temple built to Isis. Rituals to the Divine Feminine, as expressed through the Goddess Isis, were conducted as late at 300 AD. Here we will show you this graceful antiquity that was meticulously moved stone by stone from its ancient site (now submerged) to its new higher island home in the middle of the lake. Today it gives us - modern men/women of modern machines and incredible technical knowledge - great insight into what the ancient and intelligent peoples of the world could do with only simple technology and a will to create at their disposal. We continue to visit the fabulous and unique newly opened Nubian Museum with its wealth of history.

Return to our cruise for lunch and sail to Kmo Ombo. We stop at Kom Ombo which was a famous healing temple in ancient days and is now a gloriously picturesque edifice and energy-filled ruin overlooking a bend in the Nile. We continue sailing through the countryside of Egypt to Edfu. In the evening, we are invited to the Captain's welcome cocktail party followed by dinner. Open evening to experience the lounge or enjoy the solitude of cruising from the ship's upper deck. (B, L, D) Our Spiritual leader Maureen will lead us with a very special meditation and ceremony. Surprise!!!
Friday, Oct. 17 Day 7 Edfu, Luxor: We take a carriage ride to and from the best-preserved temple in Egypt, the fabulous Temple of Horus, the falcon god. Consecrated to Horus, it is the embodiment of the principle of Resurrection. Back to our boat for breakfast we spend the rest of the day sailing on the Nile, waving at the villagers, farmers and fishermen as we slowly glide through the peaceful waters and pass by the first Esna Lock. Overnight at Luxor. (B, L, D)
Saturday, Oct. 18 Day 8 Dendarah, Abydos temples: Early this morning, we drive to Qena. To honor our spiritual leader Maureen St. Germain, Quest Travel has organized and obtained governmental permission for us to visit the Dendarah Temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of joy, love and music. To be here at sunset and to break fast with your beloved Egyptian friends during this holy month of Ramdan is an unforgettable experience.

We continue to drive north of Luxor through the countryside of Egypt to Abydos, one of the most splendid spots in Egypt and the only site that holds the Flower of Life symbol. Our leader, Maureen, will share her teaching about this symbol in this place. No journey is complete without visiting Abydos. (B, L box, D)
Sunday, Oct. 19 Day 9 Thebes, The Valley of the Kings, Luxor temple: Today is devoted to Thebes as we drive across the Nile to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the great and mysterious funerary texts, The Books of the Dead, are exquisitely painted or carved into walls. We continue our visits to Madinet Habu, called by the Egyptians themselves, "The most splendid of all" and the immense Colossi of Memnon. Free evening in Luxor. Check into Sonesta St. George Luxor Hotel overlooking the Nile. (B, L)
Monday, Oct. 20 Day 10 Karnak temple, Luxor temples: This morning we visit the great Temple of Karnak at sunrise to play in the energies of the vast and overwhelming temple. Once connected to the Temple of Luxor, two miles away, by a long avenue of Sphinxes (still partially intact). Karnak is dedicated to the Powers of Creation. Karnak is the theater in which humanity (Luxor) plays out its destiny. It is an incredible collage of kings and queens, princes, priests and their collective symbolism.

We connect again this evening with our guide to experience a very special view of this magnificent structure under the stars. Here is where R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz developed his revolutionary Symbolist Interpretation that science, art, religion and philosophy are fused into one vast, coherent decoration. (B)
Tuesday, Oct. 21 Day 11 Luxor, Sharm El Shiekh, The Red Sea: Free day in Luxor to reconnect, revisit some of the sites or to enjoy more of the sites that beckon from your soul. Otherwise enjoy a relaxing day in Luxor.

Late this afternoon, we depart to Luxor Airport for our short flight to Sharm El Shiekh. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel at Sharm El Shiekh located on the Red Sea, one of the best spots in the world. Sharm El Shiekh was awarded the prize, "The Peace City in the World." (B)
Wednesday, Oct. 22 Day 12 The Red Sea: Enjoy a beautiful and peaceful day while you are swimming, diving or snorkeling in the water of the Red Sea, which is considered to be a "healing water". You will be free to explore the sights in the area. (B)
Thursday, Oct. 23 Day 13 St. Catherine, The Holy Mountain of Moses: Following early breakfast, we transfer by bus to St. Catherine, a 2 1/2 hour drive into the colorful mountains of Sinai. We will enjoy visiting the Monastery of St. Catherine, one of the most beautiful cathedrals, where the Holy Burning Bush is located.

Around noon, we hike up the holy mountain of Moses where he received the ten commandments. We will meditate as we enjoy the most beautiful sunset ever, providing some unforgettable moments in your life. Dinner will be served at the hotel. (B, L)
Friday, Oct. 24 Day 14 St. Catherine, Cairo: Following breakfast, we drive to Cairo, passing by Suez Canal which connects the world. We check into our hotel and, that evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner and share our wonderful memories about Egypt. (B, D)
Saturday, Oct. 25 Day 15 Final departure: Early breakfast followed by transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home on Egypt Air.

* Meeting times with our spiritual leader, Maureen St. Germain, to be announced on a daily basis.
