Meditation to the Archangels
Biblical and religious writing worldwide contains hundreds of references to the seven mighty Archangels. There is wide agreement and ample Old Testament references to the actual number being seven. What is surprising is that there is more than one official list of the seven Archangels! Every major authority's official list usually includes Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Some place Uriel in the top four as well. This is due to the fact that they are found in most versions of the Old Testament. My list of the seven Archangels originally ascribed to Dionysius the Areopagite is a fairly common list used by a number of authorities. Angel references are found in the Old and New Testament, religious writings of the early Christian theologians (non-canonical) as well as in the writings of other major religions (Koran, The Book of Enoch, etc.).
The job of the angels is to bring the connection of God closer to humanity. They carry the energy of God to a personal level, creating a personal connection between the individual and God. As you use this meditation, ask the angels to assist you in creating your connection with God, and remember the angels are messengers of God's loving energy.
Male or Female?
Some spiritual sources mention the divine complements of these Archangels. Simply naming them in this form will bring forth both the masculine and feminine energy. These Archangels may also be considered androgynous.

First time you use this CD:
Please allow about 30 minutes. I encourage you to sit down in a quiet meditative place and play the CD from start to finish. Later, you might choose to listen to one particular angel due to time constraints.
After the first time:
After gaining some familiarity with the contents of the meditations, you might enjoy playing this CD while you are doing your morning routine... brushing your teeth, or even during your morning run! At some point you may have memorized the entire meditation or specific gifts that are uniquely valuable for you. Then calling upon a specific angel to assist you when a challenge appears in your world becomes easy!
Why can't you ask for these things for the rest of your life once and then be done?
I wish I could tell you that you only need to invoke the Archangels once or play the meditation once and things would change permanently. But it doesn't work this way. Please don't take my word for it! If you like to experiment, do the meditation everyday for a few days, then skip a few days and see how you feel. This Meditation will change the way you experience your life. I have asked the Archangels to help me understand why one might choose to do this meditation every day. Here's the answer I received from the angelic realm: Every day is a new beginning. Every day we get to choose to be different from yesterday. Every day the earth revolves around the sun one time! Sometimes we repeat the lessons of the past, sometimes we "get it right". Many of you are familiar with the movie "Ground Hog Day," where the protagonist gets to repeat the day over and over. At first, he is annoyed; then he tries to see what he can get away with; then he evolves; and finally, when he feels he has exhausted every possibility, things change. What a great metaphor for life! I believe the more quickly you clear yourself of limiting beliefs and practices, the sooner you can see the existing abundance of opportunities that are ALREADY THERE for you!
It's up to you.
You could, if you wanted, at the end of the meditation, ask the angels to remind you when you need to repeat it again, but I'm hearing their laughter even as I write this. They are saying, "Don't worry, we will!" Then they add, "The bigger problem is the listener. Will you take the time to ask for help?"
Final Note:
I believe God made us physical beings for the purpose of holding God qualities. As such, humans are a guardian species, entrusted with the responsibility of learning to hold God qualities while living in the physical realm. By bringing the Archangels into your daily activities you will enhance your capacity to hold spiritual (God) consciousness while holding physical consciousness. I believe this was the mission God gave Adam and Eve in Paradise.
